A #FreeHaiti repost from 2005:

"On this day in history, Nov 1, 1919, the leader of the Hayti resistance, Charlemagne Peralte, was murdered by U.S. Marines and later nailed to a cross in the public square to terrorize unarmed and defenseless Haytian civilians. Tens of thousands of Haytians were raped and killed by US marines from 1915 to 1934 during the first direct U.S. occupation of Hayti that lasted 19-years and where the U.S. created slavery with chain-gang workforces and first sent those they couldn't enslave on Desalin's land to go work on large plantations in the apartheid Dominican Republic. This bipartisan U.S. racial terrorism continues today with fake Paul Farmer-George Soros charity, fake aid, and fake CoreGroup and UN cholera democracy. The holocaust continues for Hayti .... and it's bipartisan." - Èzili Dantò, ÈziliNetwork 2005 #FreeHaiti #FreeHayti #Desalin4Ever #TantToya4Ever #KapwaLamò4Ever #ReleGedeYo
